I am jealous of the potty training…I am begging to get at least one out of diapers.

Nights away from kids is good for the soul…I miss the heck out of them but I always come back refreshed!

At our house the response to everything is “If you say so”…hilarious but really?

You are going to have a ball in Colorado! When we went to Philly last fall it was only for 3 days but it was fantastic. We slept in, we ate when we wanted, drank what we wanted and ate food when it was still hot. The kids had a blast with their grandparents. I was so excited to see them when we got home, but being away was good. I want to start doing that a couple times a year.
And also, like Suzanne, Chessa uses you guys, “What are you guys doing? Are you ready guys?” It’s hysterical.

You will miss the kids a LITTLE but vacation without them is VACATION and it’s amazing.

I think a ton of kids start calling their parents by their first names around this age, although I realized we hardly ever USE our names (we use “babe” and “honey”) when Evan started calling us “guys”. Ok guys! Bye guys! I love you guys!
